Life Member Springfield Sertoma (short for Service to Mankind). Main charity is to assist the speaking & hearing impaired.
VFW
Life Member VFW 10302. Fritz served in the United States Air Force from March 1970 to November 1973 serving one year in Thailand during the Vietnam War. Fritz is proud of his service and of his fellow veterans.
American Business Club
Member of the American Business Club since 1988, helping to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for local Springfield charities. Now on Senior status.
Camp COCO
Fritz served four years on the fundraising committee for Camp COCO (Children’s Oncology Camp).
American Diabetes Association
Fritz is a supporter of the American Diabetes Association, the Kiss A Pig event, and Annual Walk. Fritz served as the Corporate Chairman for Springfield’s area annual American Diabetes Assn. Walk three times.
The Salvation Army
Fritz has served as chairman for the Transitional Shelter Council since 2005. The council assists in fundraising for day to day operations of the shelter, provides volunteers for life skill training, and assists in job placement. Fritz also serves on the Salvation Army Advisory Board, and is active in the annual Tree of Lights campaign.
