This past week 400 liberal journalists, and opinion writers were exposed for their collusion on controlling the content of their news releases, and articles. Exposed e-mails between those we are led to believe report objectively, proved otherwise. I shall refer to them as the corrupt 400. This was a consortium of journalists and reporters sharing messages on a site created by a Washington Post reporter called JournoList.

During the Bush administration I thought it odd that the same theme to many stories were told throughout the mainstream media. Take the ‘gravitous’ stories written about Cheney as an example. Do you recall how Bush’s economic policies were causing a recession, during a time that a record 52 consecutive months of growth was occurring, 8 million jobs were being created, and unemployment was at 4.5%? You would never know the truth by watching CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, CNBC, or MSNBC, or reading newspapers. Bush bad.

A current example of reporting a common theme is the Shirley Sherrod NAACP speech. Ironic that without exception mainstream media outlets all reported the same theme; “taken out of context’. If not for Fox News and the alternative media on the Internet and radio this would never had been a story. I am not commenting upon the merits of this debacle of a situation, merely providing evidence of mainstream media collusion in reporting.

Why would the mainstream media journalists all report this same theme? A political agenda, and a JournoList site to collude. There’s no question that the mainstream media is left leaning, from ownership to employees. Polls show that only 20% of Americans identify themselves as liberal.

If you want to change the people in office to those that agree with your political ideology, you must propagandize the message to sway the independent voter. They succeeded with the election of a Democrat congress in 2006, and in the presidential election of 2008. Had the media investigated and reported on Obama experience, affiliations, ideology and reported objectively there may have been a different outcome in the election.

Thankfully millions of Americans are not easily misled, had the common sense to know they were receiving biased news reporting, and Fox News exploded with viewers wanting an outlet that subscribed to objective journalism, and integrity. The cable start up has grown exponentially as a result of millions of viewers deserting the mainstream media’s leftist bias. I am referring to Fox News not the opinion shows which the left try to confuse to discredit Fox. A typical liberal tactic, as we witness today, the media’s deflection of the abject failure of Obamanomics. Millions of people suffer as a result.

The actions of the people on JournoList are shocking. Saying that if Rush Limbaugh had a heart attack in front of them they would watch him suffer and die because he deserves that. This from an NPR reporter that gets paid with your tax dollars. How they could deflect attention from Obama’s affiliation with Rev. Wright by picking any conservative and reporting them as racist. An overt act approaching treason by influencing fraudulently the outcome of the election.

The racist charge tactic is again being used throughout the mainstream media because the corrupt 400 cheer leaded for, supported, and promoted President Obama. Now unpopular, and dropping in the polls, the corrupt 400 must do something to save their ideological soulmate.

What about the economy? How can the corrupt 400 influence the economy? They did it with Bush because they had to make the majority of Americans believe the economy was bad at a time it was not. Where Bush failed was in not reigning in FANNIE/FREDDIE that were at the root of the ultimate financial meltdown. The Bush SEC was blocked in the house by Barney Frank, and in the senate by Chris Dodd. That story was either never told, or printed on page 200 then gone. Bush should have gone to the public for support, but with these new revelations, who in the media would have given it exposure?

The most distressing current tactic of the corrupt 400 was their meeting in the White House with a former journalist, and JournoList member now working in the Obama administration. Below is an excerpt from an IBD editorial on JournoList;

In 2009, Bernstein appeared often as an unpaid “surrogate” for Obama on CNBC. He says his JournoList participation ended when he took a job with the White House in December 2008.

Well, did it? In February of this year, a group of liberal journalists and bloggers met with Bernstein at the White House. A number of them were JournoListers.

“The basic thrust of the event was to present a case for the efficacy of the Recovery Act as a part of the broader effort to convince the American people that the administration’s efforts to restore the economy have been successful,” wrote one of the participants, Jonathan Singer, of the meeting.

Got that? The White House was in effect enlisting the left-leaning “mainstream media” in its PR battle to sell Obamanomics to the American public. The media knew it and were willing tools.

And we don’t know if this was the only instance, for Bernstein isn’t the White House’s only JournoList connection. As it turns out, Office of Management and Budget Director Peter Orszag also was a participant in the online group. End quote.

Just yesterday an American soldier from Jacksonville Illinois, Staff Sgt. Matthew Weikert, came home having made the ultimate sacrifice serving his country. Our brave men and women take an oath to protect and defend the constitution of the United States. Our children are dying to protect the freedom of the press, individual rights, liberty, and the constitution. The corrupt 400 disgrace them by covertly supporting an ideology that would, and is destroying those individual rights and freedoms. Despicable to the ‘n’th degree.

Who going forward can ever trust the mainstream media again? That may be a moot point as the corrupt 400 discussed plans on how to take Fox News off the air. The director of the FEC is promoting policies akin to the fairness doctrine silencing opposition, and wants to control content on the Internet. If the leftists in power supported by the corrupt 400, and mainstream media have their way, there will be no freedom of the press. They will own a monopoly. There will only be as Rush Limbaugh calls it; state run media.

Our freedoms are at risk due to a leftist elite that want a centralized authoritarian federal government. As in other socialist countries the elite, unions, academic, and political classes will live large, the people will receive crumbs. The worlds last beacon of hope for individual freedom in the world could cease to exist. All with the help of the corrupt 400. That’s their goal.

Misinformed people make misinformed decisions about the economy and in elections. Thanks to a biased media, and now the exposed corrupt 400.

I’m sure you’ll read all about JournoList on the front pages, and hear about JournoList in the evening news on mainstream media outlets. Right? Since the story broke days ago, I’m sure this is old news to you by now. Is it?
