Today on facebook a friend posted the picture of two young ladies holding a banner that stated “End the Wars, Save $19.3 Million per hour.” The header was simple; Now bring back jobs.

In case this person missed it the world has become exponentially more dangerous since Obama has held office. I give him credit for killing OBL, but he also stood by and did nothing when Iranians rose up and had an opportunity for regime change, yesterday the regime restated their goal to eliminate Israel, and to assist all enemies of Israel. The same regime that is buying missile technology that will reach 200 miles into the American homeland, perhaps with a nuke, that has been allowed to be developed through Kum Bah Yah foreign policy.

Simultaneously embracing the Arab Spring and announcing that movement to the American people as a move to democracy in the region. Naivety extraordinaire. Today the Muslim Brotherhood has won 60% of Egypt’s new government, plus the Libyan government, and Tunisia are all forming Islamic Theological states. Islam if you recall, calls for world domination. Infidels are either to submit, or be killed.

I’m not suggesting our money spent on defense, or the fights chosen have been prosecuted wisely, however I am suggesting that the $1 trillion in cuts to defense Obama is implementing makes us weaker, not more lean and mean as Obama claims. Now is a time we need to be assembling a military that can protect us from the new world threats allowed to form under Obama appeasement policy.

The Obama administration has no intent to lower our deficit with these $1 trillion in cuts. It will be $1 trillion more sent to Obama’s favorite wealth redistribution recipients.

That really is not the intent of this article. What stunned me was the misinformed notion that by ending the war and saving $19.3 million an hour, would ‘bring back jobs’. The following was my response to this post:

End the welfare state for both able bodied citizens and corporations and save ten times that amount.

Turn loose the American oil industry to drill in our own lands and lower the cost of food and fuel saving families ten times that amount being stolen from their disposable incomes from absolutely unnecessary high prices.

You are right government taking money from the private sector either through printing money devaluing citizens dollars they hold, or by borrowing or taxing; leaves less money for the private sector to grow and create jobs.

Government has jobs, government does not create jobs. The private sector produces goods and services. Government intervention into that process impedes production, growth, and jobs.

Wealth redistribution is not wealth creation. Government redistributes wealth. The private sector creates wealth.

This is why our founders laid out a system of limited federal government.

Do you want to ‘bring the jobs back’?

Repeal Obamacare, Dodd Frank, and reverse EPA energy mandates, reform the tax code, and you’d have 30 million additional jobs in three years.

Eliminate the Department of Energy. They do not create energy, they prevent energy creation.

Eliminate The Department of Education. They are nothing more than a subsidiary of the NEA and robs billions from local school districts.

Eliminate the NLRB. They don’t create jobs, they prevent jobs. They don’t ensure workers rights, they eliminate workers.

America will become Italy if action is not taken by 2015. If politicians delay until 2017 we are Greece. Obama has shown no propensity to have an adult conversation about, but uses only for demagoguery the biggest economic threats; Social Security, and Medicare. Obama’s $5 trillion in additional debt his first term has America on hyper drive toward insolvency, yet proposes no viable solutions, and rejects his own Presidential Debt Commission’s recommendations.

Whether we become Italy or Greece will be determined on the Day of Reckoning; November 6, 2012. Nobama 2012 or Noamerica 2013.

Personally I prefer we don’t become Italy, or Greece which is certain without change. I prefer we revert to being America again!

This ends today’s Paul Revere warnings of what is coming to America. Off to gather and prepare a feast for the Illini game, and Super Bowl while we still enjoy the freedom, and have the economic ability to do so. Time is running out. God Bless America.
